He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jessie Myrtle Pond and Howard Alvah Stearns; his wife Naomi Eunice Brock (Midge); and his children, Larry Stearns (Doris), Patty Mangum (John) of Tacna, Steve Stearns (Joanie) of Boise and Bruce Stearns (Angie) of Lebanon, Oregon.. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
