“I played baseball against and with Tom for several decades in Lewiston. As young kids playing in the summer league on through high school, Tom was always there. He was a great athletic, very competitive and brought out the best in the competition...Like a lot of people, I was always hoping I would see him one more time, but it didn't work out that way for me....I will miss Tom, knowing I will never see him again, but always remember him as that young kid on the pictures mound, ball in hand....”
