He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Hopkins and Shirley Hopkins; his son Kevin; his son-in-law Jeff Kimball; his granddaughter Teddi Noelle Kimball; and his brother Robert Hopkins.

He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughters, Krystal DeBilzan (Jimmy) and Karla Kimball; his grandchildren, Logan, Sam, Kourtney, Maddie and Wyatt; and his brother Tom Hopkins (Carolyn).
