Roberta Joan Shimer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Joan Shimer (Boise, Idaho), who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Ruth; and her sister Carol Ann. She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Nelda (Bob Hubler), Shelda (Cory Bennett), Sharon (Ken Joslin), Roberta (Jay Lockett), George (Marie Shimer) and Richard (Sharolyn Shimer); her siblings, Marvel Boydstun, Rita Butler, Judy Gaddo, Linda Jack, Robert and Orville Hosford (Bud); and her siblings-in-law, Gene Gaddo and Linda Hosford. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 53 greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hill Road LDS Chapel (2600 Hill Rd, Boise, ID 83702).
