He is survived by: his siblings, Sherri Reid (IA) of Onslow, Melody Witt (IA) of Coralville and William Wells Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Marnie Schultz (Logan) of Cedar Rapids, Dani Allensworth (IA) of Cedar Rapids, Bryon Hicks (Heidi), Scott Hicks (IA) of Maquoketa, Nick Wells (IA) of Cedar Rapids, Aaron Witt (IA) of Johnston and Donald Witt (IA) of Coralville; and his friend Vern Knowles (Chris). He is also survived by children, plus many wonderful cousins.

I have great memories of time spent together. It is no surprise to me that he achieved so many levels of success after graduating from ISU. Blessings and love to his family.”
