He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Michaels and Mary Michaels. He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne; his daughters, Julia of Maryland and Lara of New York; his siblings, Joan Emmet of Connecticut and John Michaels; and his grandson Isaac Zilm.
