She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dietrich and Gertie Belle Dietrich; her siblings, Lloyd Dietrich (Alma), Charles Dietrich (Wilma), Vernice Bush (Oscar), Edith Becker (William), Wendell Dietrich (Nicky), Marjorie Prentice (Ralph Pendleton), Marietta Hamilton (Griffin), Edna Gattis (Curtis), Jess Merkey (Betty) and Edwin Merkey (Shirley); and her sisters-in-law, Betty and Shirley.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Arthur Merkey; her children, Gary Merkey (June) of Houston and Judi Lehrman (Mark) of Boise; her grandchildren, Lori Merkey Lynn, Rick Merkey (Shawna), Tami McCurry (Ace), Ambre Zimmerly (Ryan) and Erin Timmerman (Jake); her great grandchildren, Cailee Robinson (Rusty), Allie, Nic, Stephen Zimmerly, Natalie Lynn Clawson, Katie Stevenson, Kaitlyn Mata (Marcos), Kevin Merkey and Tatiana Jackson; and also, Diane Ledford, Bill Merkey, Mark Merkey, Reta McLane and Tyler Craft. She is also survived by five great-great grandchildren with another great granddaughter and great-great grandbaby.
