With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melanie Gay Heninger (Boise, Idaho), born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, who passed away on September 19, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Donovan James and Jeanne James; her siblings, Kathie and Doug; and her granddaughter Jaelyn.

She is survived by: her siblings, Carol, Kim and Cindy; her husband Steve; her children, Andrea (Christopher Loveland), Chad (Lorraine Heninger), Michael (Lynae Heninger) and Thomas (Gianina Heninger); her grandchildren, Alexia (James Eldredge), Julie (Kyle Cook), Hunter, Mason, Bailey, Pierson, Emma, Amryn, Anistyn, Elyse, Gaiyla, Kaiya, Talan and Nora; and her great grandchildren, Bentlee, James and Maverick.
