With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kent McCarthy (Boise, Idaho), born in Bishop, California, who passed away on July 24, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCarthy and Cynthia Joyce McCarthy; and his brother Johnny McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Burney (Barbie); his children, Matthew McCarthy and Katie Miedema (Adam); his sister Susan Shaw (Bill); his grandsons, Nathan, Theodore and Henry Miedema; and his nieces, Shannon, Kelly, Amy, Angie, Karen, Lisa and Mindy. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandsons.
