She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Planansky and Patricia Planansky (Wightman). She is survived by: her wife Gina Persichini; her sister Jan Bendio (Ruric); her niece Jenna Bendio; and her great-nephew Jonah Bendio.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Center for Benedictine Life at the Monastery of St. Gertrude or The First Tee of Idaho are welcomed in her honor.
