John Michael Gwartney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2023, at the age of 82, John Michael Gwartney in Boise, Idaho passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Gwartney and Lois Gwartney; his uncle Jack; his wife Tore Beal Gwartney; his children, Debra Gwartney, Cynthia Sundvik (Gary), Ron Gwartney (Lou Anne), Rebecca McKenna (Michael) and John Robert Gwartney (Cori); his siblings, Roberta Hedberg (Mick) and Larry Gwartney; and his aunt Janice Neal. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a wide array of friends.

The family requests in lieu of flowers or gifts donations to your favorite charity in his name or to organizations special to him, such as the University of Idaho College of Business and Economics or Equine Rehab and Sports Medicine Center.
