With solemn reverence, we commemorate Jerry Charles Smart of Boise, Idaho, born in Logan, Utah, whose life came to an end on August 2, 2024 at the age of 78, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Smart and Betty Smart; and his brothers, Gene Smart and Leon Smart. He is survived by: his wife Janie Marie Smart; his children, Jason (Tifanee Smart), Billy Smart (Angela Haldeman), Joe (Sunny Smart), Karalenn (Seth Hippen) and Kristie (Matt Bumstead); and his siblings, Randy Smart (Susan), Dean Smart (Mary) and Kathleen Braden (Marty). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He would help with any project or chance for service and shared this legacy of charity with his children.
