He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ahnsteadt (Shirl); his mother Mable Carter; and his siblings, Larry W. Zimmerman, Martha Zimmerman and Diane Wenner Dawson.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Zimmerman (Nick Barber) and Troy Zimmerman (Dona Zimmerman); his sister Audrey Zerbe (Gary Zerbe); his grandchildren, Amanda Briscoe (Michael Briscoe), Chandler Barber, Taylor Zimmerman and Hannah Owen (Hayden); and his great grandchildren, Blake Briscoe, Oakley Briscoe and Wesley Barber. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Relyea Funeral Chapel (318 N Latah St, Boise, ID 83706). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dry Creek Cemetery (9600 Hill Rd, Boise, ID 83714).
