He was predeceased by: his parents, Erma Lillian Stratford and Esdras Whittaker; his wife Virginia Chapman; his son David M. Whittaker (Legionnaires); and his siblings, Janet Clegg, Louise Reimer and Esdras S. Whittaker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Ann Hatch (Mike) of Boise, Idaho and Carol Sue McIver (Jeff) of South Jordan, Utah; and his sister Normal Powell (Robert) of Vernal, Utah.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rosecreek Ward LDS Chapel (3555 Cole Rd, Boise, ID 83709).
