He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ryden and Jane Ryden (Bottorf); and his brother Rex Ryden. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his daughter-in-law Faye Ryden (John); his daughter Katherine Ryden; his grandchildren, Leah Nikolas (Skyler), James Ryden, Neil Ryden, Anna Warehime (Jacob), Marie Ryden, Nicole Ryden, Matt Ryden, John Ryden (Natalie), Thomas Ryden, Katie Ryden, Claire Ryden and David Ryden; and his nieces, Jane Condon (Pat), Jody Dorweiler (Bob), Ginny Malloy, Kathy Larson (Mark) and Ann Squire (Rod).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Summers Funeral Home (3629 E Ustick Rd, Meridian, ID 83646).
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the Downtown Rotary Club of Boise or the Junior Achievement of Idaho. Honor Donald Ryden's memory by donating to a cause they cared about.
