He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Berry and Joe Berry of Luke's Hospital. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Simpson; his children, Jason (Joy) and Emily; his siblings, Dru Casper (John), Dawn Davidson (Gary) and Dale (Brenda); his sister-in-law Margaret Simpson; and his close friend Randy Ruim (Cathy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Don served as CEO for Boise nonprofit Create Common Good and sat on multiple boards of directors including the Family Advocate Program, Gritman Medical Center Foundation, College of Western Idaho and others.
