He was predeceased by: his father Ernie Drake; his brother Jim Drake; and his mother Elizabeth Drake. He is survived by: his children, Scott Drake (Jeannie), Jeff Drake and Karen Drake (Jeff Figueroa); his wife Joyce Drake; his stepchildren, Yvonne Fisher (Bryan), Andrea Holmes (Brad) and Larry Benedict (Patty); his grandchildren, Josephine Drake, Brittyn, Cameron, Dylan Figueroa, Bryanna, Ryan Benedict and Hailey Fisher; and his great grandchildren, Bodie of Everley, RJ, Sophia and Junior.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery (10100 N Horseshoe Bend Rd, Boise, ID 83714). The military honors was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
