As Craig departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Craig may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Craig leaves behind.

He is survived by: his parents, Brian Holcombe and Jenny Holcombe; his wife Darlene Holcombe; his sons, Travis Holcombe (Abigail Holcombe) and Corey Holcombe; and his brothers, Brett and Mark Holcombe. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cloverdale Funeral Home (1200 N Cloverdale Rd, Boise, ID 83713). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cloverdale Funeral Home (1100 N Cloverdale Rd, Boise, ID 83713-7805). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Dry Creek Cemetery (9600 Hill Rd, Boise, ID 83703).

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the Boise Rescue Mission in remembrance of Craig.

“Darlene, we are heartbroken for your loss. Craig & I had lunch before I headed to NZ. We talked of many things, our first meeting at Ulverstone in 1995, his passion for golf & travel. His face lit up when he talked of you & the boys, he was so proud of Travis & Corey. Craig, had such a balanced perspective on life, a great sense of humour (he could always tell a good joke - inevitably bursting into rumbling laughter before the punchline) & family was his absolute priority.
