He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Austin and Lillie Lavon McCoy; his wife Evelyn Mae Thompson; and his children, Dennis, Gregory, Douglas, Gary and Carla. He was also cherished by his 3 sons and daughter, 14 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
