Bernie R. Rakozy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2024, at the age of 90, Bernie R. Rakozy (Boise, Idaho), born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis Rakozy and Martha Skora; his son Stephan John Rakozy; and his siblings, Robert John Rakozy and Dorthy Rakozy.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Rakozy (Hessner); his daughters, Diane Hinkle Rakozy and Carol Rakozy Borror; his son-in-law Steven Borror; his half-sister Diane Dunn; his grandchildren, Kyle Hinkle, Cody Rakozy, Carter Borror and Gabrielle Borror-Sargent; his nephews, Rob Rakozy, Mike Rakozy and Chris Rakozy; and his niece Susan Rakozy Talentino.

In lieu of flowers, his family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Idaho Botanical Garden. Honor Bernie Rakozy's memory by donating to a cause they cared about.
