Barbara Jo Bender Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 83, Barbara Jo Bender in Boise, Idaho passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Barbara Jo's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Barbara Jo's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Jason Bender, Jennifer Trople and Jill Bender; her son-in-law Adam Winkel; her grandson Colin Bender; and her sisters, Mary Anderson and Corky Holloway. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
The family encourages any donations to be made toward the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Boise Philharmonic, Idaho Youth Ranch, or the English Literature department at BSU.
