He was predeceased by: his parents, Matias Rubalcava and Ramona Gomez. He is survived by: his wife Isidra Rodriguez; and his children, Aniceto, Cruz Rubalcava of Mexico, Trinidad, Gerardo Rubalcava of Bliss, Ramon Rubalcava (Maria) of Shoshone, Rosalba Gutierrez (Leonel) of Mexico, Evodia Madera (Fransico) of Wendell, Guadalupe Polanco (Jose Alfredo) of Rupert and Elizabeth Montero (Ruben) of Wendell. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
