He was predeceased by: his parents, Vearl Emery and Katie Ulilla Jacobson Ostberg; his wife Carol Ostberg; and his son Tony Daun. He is survived by: his children, Tom Ostberg (Teresa) of Chester, ID, Rex Ostberg (Pam) of Chester, ID, Mindy Sanders (Patrick) of Florida, Verdus Jr. Ostberg (Bobbi) of Blackfoot and Vicky Berggren (Steven) of Blackfoot; his daughter-in-law Gina Daun of Syracuse, UT; and his siblings, Don Ostberg and Joyce Ostberg of Blackfoot. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
