He is survived by: his wife Ranel Reed of Blackfoot; his children, Shaney Swanson of Idaho Falls, Brennan Reed (Angela) of Ririe, Carissa Jensen (Dan) of Idaho Falls and Chelsey Searle (Joshua) of Idaho Falls; his stepchildren, Adam Hales (Morgan) of Pingree and Kaylee Lee (Robert) of Blackfoot; and his siblings, Jack Reed (Sandy) of Ririe, Ron Reed (Gayle) of Ririe, Sharon Jones of Colorado and Evelyn Bryner (Bruce) of Idaho Falls. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren.
