Joy Mortensen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2025, at the age of 90, Joy Mortensen (Blackfoot, Idaho) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Jay Charles Jr.; her husband Jay Charles Mortensen (Church); and her siblings, William, Clyde, Bob, Vernon, Roger, Susan (Humphries) and Ron Lott.
She is survived by: her children, Katrina (Joe), Kelly Gene (Barbara), Tamara (Craig Luker) and Debra (Mike Campbell); and her grandchildren, Sarah Ward (Spence), Ashley Bartausky (Zack), Zachary Campbell (Chelsee), Cassia Pratt (Jason), Justin Luker, Skyler Campbell (Nicole), BreAnn Luker, Natasha Jensen (Durant), Dexter Mortensen, Quinci, Austin Campbell (Whitney), Whitney Luker and Logan Campbell (Reanne).
Viewing was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wapello LDS Church (337 N Wicks Ln, Blackfoot, ID 83221).
