He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Enrico Gallegos and Eufricia Florence Belarde Gallegos; his stepfather Jose Giron; his sons-in-law, Carl H. Bird and Jeffrey L. Crezee; his siblings, John, Leo, Lucy, Viola, Sam, Arthur, Danny and Lena; and his in-laws, Juan and Maria Lucero.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Gallegos; his children, Fred Gallegos (Karen), Wanda Wheeler (John), Rita Crezee, Jerry Gallegos (Peggy), Ronnie Gallegos, Lori Aguayo, Juanita Dayton (Kim) and Angela Gallegos; his brother Gilbert Gallegos; his nephews, John Lucero and Paul Lucero; his daughter-in-law Tori Simmons; and his grandsons, Eric Gallegos and Evan Gallegos. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, 9 bonus grandchildren, 23 bonus great grandchildren and 2 bonus great great grandchildren.
