We bid farewell to Edith Newman of Blackfoot, Idaho, born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 29, 2024 at the age of 80. Edith touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamont McMurtrey and Edith Wilson McMurtrey; and her husband Al Newman. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Wilmot (Randy) and Monte Newman (Shellie); and her grandchildren, Lauralie, Chris, Samantha, Mallorie, Chaycie, Shanon, Mollie, Britt, Jamie and Zane.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wapello LDS Church (337 N Wicks Ln, Blackfoot, ID 83221).
