It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Kem Palmer (Blackfoot, Idaho), born in Burley, Idaho, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Palmer and Larraine Palmer. He is survived by: his family, Christine Grimmett (John) of Moreland, Linda Johnson (Gary), Douglas Miller of Pocatello, Lori Wilson (Mike) of Challis and Korey Miller (Shawna) of Pocatello; his foster brother Larry Besch of Idaho Falls; and his foster parents, Karl Shirley and Connie Shirley of Idaho Falls. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Joshua Smith Foundation and the Developmental Workshop of Idaho Falls where he was currently affiliated and the staff who helped him there including Jamie Cota and Kristy Clute.
