He was predeceased by: his mother Terri Patchett; his stepfather Neal Hicks; and his grandparents, Dick and Francy Patchett. He is survived by: his father Robert Downs of Fallon, NV; his daughter Taylor Lee Downs of Pocatello; his siblings, Brittnee Downs and Jayci Downs; and his grandparents, JoAnn, John Anderson and Joan Downs.
