He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Warren Fields and Violet Lavell Nelson Fields; his former wife Mary Margaret Fields; his in-laws, Richard and Helen Jenkins; his daughter-in-law Leisa Cox Fields; and his stepson Barry Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carol VanOrden; his children, Clark Fields of Blackfoot, Tony Fields (Robyn) and Terri Trost (Wade) of St. Anthony; his stepchildren, Lonny Smith (Patty) of Blackfoot, Marty Smith (Maria) of Pocatello, Nancy Simmons of Rigby and Joanna Marlow (Clete) of Blackfoot; and his sister-in-law Barbe Gibson (Bob) of Lincoln City. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hawker Funeral Home (132 S Shilling Ave, Blackfoot, ID 83221). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blackfoot Stake Center (1650 Highland Dr, Blackfoot, ID 83221).
