He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Winkler and Blanche Winkler (Sweigert); his son Rick Winkler; and his sister Delpha Belanger. He is survived by: his wife Esther Bench of Blackfoot; and his children, DaNae Velman (Chuck) of Rexburg, Michael Winkler (Genoveva) of Nampa, Tammie Lewis of Blackfoot, Mary Hanni (Trevor) of Blackfoot and James Winkler (Jessica) of Blackfoot. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
