He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Martinez; his siblings, Esequiel Velasquez and Maria Velasquez Gonzalez; and his nephew Guadalupe Gonzalez. He is survived by: his wife Angela; his children, Claudia Martinez (Jose), Paul Velasquez (Jo), Erica Garcia (Jose), Esequiel Velasquez (Nadia) and Esmeralda Edwards (Brandon); and his siblings, Raul Velasquez (Maria Elena), Angela Velasquez (Fernando Flores), Rosa Velasquez and Leonel Velasquez (Leticia). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hawker Funeral Home (132 S Shilling Ave, Blackfoot, ID 83221). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Bernard's Catholic Church (584 W Sexton St, Blackfoot, ID 83221). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grove City Cemetery (1 Willow Dr, Blackfoot, ID 83221).
