Ruth Blackburn Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Blackburn of Ashton, Idaho. Family and friends can send flowers and/or light a candle as a loving gesture for their loved one. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Ruth Blackburn to show support.

As we bid Ruth farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ruth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Browning and Phoebe Watts Browning; her husband John Blackburn; her children, John Steven Blackburn and Katherine Treva Norris; and her granddaughter Lisa Marie Perry.

She is survived by: her children, Anita Perry (Terrell) of Idaho Falls, Cindy Thompson (Michael) of Idaho Falls, Gloria Irons (David) of Idaho Falls and Rick Blackburn (Rachel) of Idaho Falls. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
