It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oley Worrell (Ashton, Idaho), who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Worrell and Elva Worrell; his brother Norman Leroy Worrell; his grandsons, Michael Bruce Hess and Kolby James Worrell; and his great grandchild Samuel Porter Hess.
He is survived by: his wife Vena Rae Hall Worrell of Chester, Idaho; his children, Shannon Hess (Bruce) of Rigby, Shelbie Burke (Doug) of Rigby, Shawnie Worrell (Leimomi) of Tacoma and Joe Worrell (Brenda) of Pocatello, Idaho; and his siblings, Joseph Kennie of Chester and Carma Fae of Utah. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Ashton LDS Stake Center (516 N 2nd St, Ashton, ID 83420). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
