He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jorgensen and Elsie Jorgensen; and his siblings, Carlyle Jorgensen, Andrew Lee Jorgensen, Malcom Jorgensen, Deloris Mathiasen and Belva Richerson.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Jorgensen; his children, Jim Jorgensen (Mamie) of Ashton and Julie Shumway (Bryan) of Iona, ID; his sister Christina Granger of Goose Creek, SC; and his grandchildren, Nora, Maren, Rebekah, Alex, Andy and Emma.
