He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Berger and Ella Virginia Woolstenhulme; his wives, Sharon and Mary Jean; his brother James Douglas Berger; his siblings-in-law, Marcia Floyd Berger and Steve Taylor; his son-in-law Ronnie A. Lindstrom; and his grandson Jonathan Rex Hamblin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marsha Taylor, Phil Berger (Melanee), Dessa Wade (Rex) and Shane Berger (Jean); and his children, Sandra Lynne Hamblin (Garth), Kim Lindstrom, Jeannie Nix (Marc), Jacque Hunt (Jeff) and Bill Berger (Kimberly). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Ashton LDS Stake Center (516 N 2nd St, Ashton, ID 83420). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
