He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Berger and Ella Virginia Woolstenhulme; his wives, Sharon and Mary Jean; his brother James Douglas Berger; his siblings-in-law, Marcia Floyd Berger and Steve Taylor; his son-in-law Ronnie A. Lindstrom; and his grandson Jonathan Rex Hamblin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marsha Taylor, Phil Berger (Melanee), Dessa Wade (Rex) and Shane Berger (Jean); and his children, Sandra Lynne Hamblin (Garth), Kim Lindstrom, Jeannie Nix (Marc), Jacque Hunt (Jeff) and Bill Berger (Kimberly). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
