He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Phelps and Ruth Phelps; his son Eric Phelps; his sister Shirley Lenz (Clyde); and his grandsons, Tyler, Branson and Dacoda Phelps.
He is survived by: his former spouses, Barbara Reimann and Leslie Bigler; his brother Doyle Phelps (Bea); and his children, Felicia Frederick (Woody), Trent Phelps (Terri), Angie Oberhansley (Steve) and Scott Phelps (Shelly). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
