He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Betty and William Brown. He is survived by: his mother Pearl LuRay Eckman; his stepchildren, Cindy, Cody and Chance; his wife Kaelyn Eckman; his children, Casey and Kari Eckman (Brody Hart); his grandson LeLand Gregory J Eckman; his siblings, Cindy Eckman and Chance Eckman (Amy); and his father Rodney Eckman (Coleen). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, aunts, and uncles and brother and sister in law.
He served the community as a member of the Rotary Club for many years and made contributions to every group or school need that came along. The main contribution that he loved was the Education Foundation.
