He was predeceased by: his parents, Father Raymond Sylvester Harris and Minerva Sue Harris (Smith); his stepson Jason C Ricks; his granddaughter Annie Newbold Ricks; his siblings-in-law, Klain T Christensen and Josie Jemmett Christensen; and his sister Sarah Pauline Harris.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Chistensen Harris; his brothers, Ted (Debbie), Carson (Aida), Joe (LaDon) and Pete (Vickie); and his sons, Bryce (Stacie), Gary (Kelcey) and Paul (Sarah).
