He is survived by: his parents, Clarence Marion McMurtrey and Mabel Sophia Scott McMurtrey; his wife Lillie Mae; his children, Bradley (Anita), Marilyn Small (Sam), Brent, Blake (Suzanne), Scott (Trudy), Alan (Chantal) and Jay McMurtrey; and his siblings, Ephraim, Alma, Jay, Blaine, Ruth, Leone and Alta.
