He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bonnie Mayer and Earl Mayer; his sister Joy Mayer; his wife Teresa Mayer of Las Vegas; his children, Hillary Silar, Lance Mayer of Washington, Gabriel (Araceli Bautista) and Jessica Gasco of Las Vegas; and his brothers, Richard (Linda Mayer) of California and Tommy Mayer.
