It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph L. Smuin of American Falls, Idaho, who passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smuin and Dorrie Ruth Abbott. He is survived by: his sons, Larry Smuin (Jennifer) of Oregon and Jerry Smuin of Oregon; his sister Jan Rawson of Pocatello; and his stepchildren, Michael Miller (Denise) of American Falls, Susan Miller of St. Anthony, Shirley Burdick (Bill) of Twin Falls, Ron Miller of American Falls and Roberta Remmel (Michael) of California. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Falls View Cemetery (2938 McKinley Rd, American Falls, ID 83211).
