She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Teofilo Torres and Maria Martinez; her husband Israel Mendez; her children, Ismael Mendez of Mexico, Sergio Mendez (Daena) of Pocatello, Norma Mendez (Javier Mancilla) of American Falls, Maricela Mendez (Ray Estrada) of Pocatello and Maribel Mendez of American Falls; and her siblings, Javier Torres (Carmen Hernandez) of Mexico, Santiago Torres (Esperanza), Juana Torres (Nestor Alvarez) of Mexico, Guadalupe Torres of Mexico, Esperanza Torres (Raul Hernandez) of Mexico and Manuel Torres (Esperanza). She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren.
