William Dean Jones Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Dean Jones of Almo, Idaho, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As William Dean departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William Dean may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William Dean leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Jones and Leona Eames Jones; his sister Patricia "Pat" Eguilior; his son Jeffrey Dean Jones; and his granddaughter Jadee Lynn Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Annalee Jones of Almo; his daughter-in-law Sonja Jones of Idaho Falls; and his children, Gregg Jones (Charlotte) of Twin Falls, Rod Jones (Laura) of Almo and LeeAnn Durfee (Steve) of Almo. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren: and 39 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint (834 E. 1985 S., Almo). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
