She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Evelyn and John Orval Thompson; her husband Ray Butz; and her siblings, Carole Cliff and John Orval "Jack" Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie McKeever-Hovde (Eric) of Nampa and Kathleen McKeever-Walton of Scottsdale; her siblings, Brian Thompson of Homedale, Diane Reid of Torrance, CA and Kristina Carrier of Moscow; her son John Butz (Shannon) of Albion; and her grandchildren, Evelyn van den Akker (Wylie), Leah Walton of Heyburn, Jennifer Peirce (Chase) of Meridian, Logan Boyd (Tina) of Heyburn, Kale Walton of Portland, Dillon Boyd of Jerome, Deirdre "Dd" Mack of Holladay and Miles DeKlotz of Boise. She is also survived by her ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and great-nieces and nephews.
