It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel F. Steffen of Zwingle, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Steffen and Anna Mae Steffen (Donlinger); and his brother Darrell Steffen. He is survived by: his wife Karen Dunne; his sons, Eric Steffen of Zwingle, Gregory Steffen of Zwingle and Brian Steffen (Jenna) of Zwingle; his siblings, Dean Steffen (Ronay) of Maquoketa, Karla Mahoney (Jim) of Bernard and Karen Stoffel (L. J.) of Peosta; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Steffen, Kevin Dunne (Lorie), Sharon Swanson (Doug), David Dunne (Carol), Bryan Dunne and Steven "Whitey" Dunne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a Daniel Steffen memorial fund will be established.
