She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnie Louis and Bernice Caroline Hammerand (Oberman); and her daughter Mary Elizabeth Bruns. She is survived by: her husband Robert Bruns of Zwingle, IA; her son Aaron Isaac (Elizabeth); her granddaughters, Ava Bernice and Emily Erinn Bruns; her son Robert Martin II (Molly Bruns); her grandson Aidan Michael Bruns; and her son Arnie Fredrick Cort (Jennifer).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carson Celebration (318 W Pleasant St, Maquoketa, IA 52060). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Carolyn Arlene Bruns memorial fund has been established.
