With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaVonne Alice Christianson of Zearing, Iowa, born in James, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2024 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Anderson and Carrie Anderson; her son James Craig; her husband Lavern Christianson (Bud); her daughter-in-law Rita; and her granddaughter Shalee Beth.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Christianson (Cecelia); her grandchildren, Chad Christianson (Dawn), Michaela Christianson, Gina Gear (Todd), Tara Ethington (Joel) and Keith Christianson (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Tyler, Elli Christianson, Mason, McKenzie Gear, Noah, Pete, Alex Ethington, Mia and Maci Christianson; and her siblings, JoAnn Couser, Lloyd Anderson (Janelle), Dennis Anderson (Pat) and Linda Tett. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
