He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Borton and Hazel Borton (Alexander); his wife Vianna Rogers; his brothers, Lyle, Herbert, Harold, Thomas and James; his grandson Lucas Borton; and his great grandchild Amara Breer.
He is survived by: his children, Stanley Borton (Jean) of Clemons, IA, Linda Shoop (Kevin) of Ames, IA and Loretta Constable (Paul) of Blythedale, MO; his grandchildren, Amanda Breer (Kolby), Aaron Borton, Alicia Borton, Jeff Hitchings (Allison), Matt Hitchings (Steph Thomas), Jacquelyn Constable, Katlyn Kostman (Tim) and Paula Constable; and his great grandchildren, Claire Hitchings, Molly Hitchings, Thomas Hitchings, Barrett Breer, Emersyn Breer, Westan Breer, Rowyn Kostman and Carlyle Kostman.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Story County Medical Center Building Fund or the Bethel United Methodist Church in Zearing.
