She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Samuelson and Edna Samuelson (Sumner); her daughter Julie Marie Allen (Thompson); and her grandson Joshua Slechta. She is survived by: her husband Ken of Dow City, Iowa; her children, Kevin "Gene" Thompson (Rhonda) of Dow City, DeAnne (Jon Thompson) of Omaha, Jody Rhodes of Dunlap and Keith "Dusty" Rhodes (Shelly) of Defiance, Iowa; and her siblings, Jim Samuelson of Dow City, Jan (Jerry Mathison) of Woodbine and Richie Samuelson of Council Bluffs, Iowa. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
